Kendra Scott  |  2012-2018  |  Product Design & Pattern Design
PROJECT:
Kendra Scott’s launches at least four seasonal jewelry lines a year. Seasonal refreshes also applied to the Travel Collection. A custom print was needed to coincide with Kendra Scott's 2014 fall line, inspired by Africa.

SOLUTION:
Through research, I drew inspiration from traditional African prints found on pottery and mud cloth. The pattern plays on traditional elements but is modernized by simplifying and enlarging the scale. The bold colors and shapes played off the corresponding jewelry line.

ROLE:
Textile Designer:
I created concepts, mood boards, pattern design and color-ways. I worked with overseas vendors source all materials and trim, determine color tolerances, pattern placement and QA.
